AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT

The Parties:
Improve acoustics and atmosphere in Bowls Hall. Make more usage of Lowther Hall for parties, installing extra flooring and opening up Upper Gallery if necessary. Keep Lowther Hall and bar open all day and night!
Increase variety of music in terms of type, and pace to cater for all tastes and levels of dance ability
Improved usage of 'taxi dancers' - make more visible and encourage to dance with more beginners. Encourage to 'seek out' ladies and initiate more 'ruedas'.
Reduce amount of 'line-ups' to maintain momentum and atmosphere.
Keep introduction of artists brief, to maximise time available for dancing.

The Workshops:
More choice of workshops at same level, at same time, to reduce class size
Make programme of workshop more structured and improve communication between teachers to ensure that workshops build on each other
Clearer definition of workshop levels and more stringent controls to ensure students join the right level
Improve distribution of 'taxi dancers' across workshops
Improve acoustics in Bowls Hall
