THE ARTISTS
The weekend includes two party nights and
seventeen hours of workshops, for all levels, in a magnificent
venue. The line-up is truly breath-taking with thirteen international
artists starring Latin Black, arguably the most exciting Cuban
dance act in the world and Osvaldo Chacon Y Su Timba, the
UK's best Cuban Salsa band.

Latin Black, based in Italy, is one of the most exciting
dance groups in the world and is formed by six professional
dancers including, Seo, Alexia, Yueisy, Leo, Tanya and
Enrique.
Their style is energetic and sexy and their shows combine
afro-cuban dances with the power of hip-hop, the pace
of reggaeton and the elegance of contemporary dance.
In August 2007, Eddy Torres gave Latin Black the "the
best group" prize at the Festival of Naples and in December
2007 they received two awards at the "Latinos de Oro"
in Milan.
This will be their debut performance in the UK.and
a real treat.

Chacón y su Timba includes a line-up
of the UK's foremost Cuban and Latin musicians, proving
a great success with audiences and promoters.
Originally trained as a teacher in Havana,
Osvaldo Chacón began his musical career with some of
Cuba's top salsa bands, including Paulito FG, El Medico
de la Salsa and Bamboleo.
Chacón y su Timba have a format of 7-10
musicians and play a range of original salsa/timba and
classic style son.

in Afro-Cuban dance and female styling.

Born in Cuba and now resident in France, Ernesto specialises
in Rueda.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC/UK
Wilson is one of the most talented and charismatic artists
in the Latin scene.

CARLOS PACHEGO, CUBA/UK
Juan Carlos was born in Cuba and has worked all his
life as a professional dancer. He specialises in the
traditional Cuban dances such as Son and Cha Cha.
YESSICA
LIVESEY, CUBA/UK
Yessica was born in Cuba and was a professional dancer
with Raizes Profunos, a leading Cuban dance group.
CHOCOLATE,
FRANCE
Chocolate is one of the most talented Cuban style
teachers, performers and promoters in Europe. He has
developed his own street style of salsa.
JAVIE
DE LA ROSA, CUBA/UK
Winner fo the Best Salsa DJ award at the Congress,
he is one of the most exciting DJ's in the UK.
