The levels defined in the table below are rough guidelines to help you decide which group to join.

New Beginner
*No pre-requisites *No pre-requisites The workshops will give you confidence with the basic Salsa steps and technique and give you a taster of other fun Cuban dance forms.
Level 2
Improver
*Basic footwork on time Familiar with basic footwork (Cuban basic, Mambo, Cucaracha, basic back) Designed for dancers who have solid footwork, the workshops will introduce you to basic Cuban Salsa turns and combinations and the rueda basics.
Level 3

Designed for dancers who have solid footwork and are confident with basic turns and combinations, the workshops will make your dancing more varied and dynamic..
Level 4
Intermediate/
Advanced

*Be able to chat up partner at the same time as shake your bootie through Sombrero Complicado!
*Put on your own style
*To dance with great partner confidence and awareness
*To lead and follow from the core of your body
*Able to perform most advanced moves with confidence (e.g. Evelyn con la mano derecha)


Designed for competent dancers the workshops will focus on areas such as: musical interpretation with accents and gestures in your body movement; dancing contra-tiempo; mixing Salsa with Rumba; the most advanced and fun Salsa moves.
