PROGRAMME

CubanaFest 2009 includes an impressive lineup of Salsa bands, teachers, performers and DJ's to create a sizzling summer Salsa festival of live music, dance workshops and parties, all hosted, indoors and outdoors, in one beautiful venue, by the sea.

LIVE MUSIC

CubanaFest 2009 brings to the UK the best of Cuban music, from the traditional to the modern, from Son and Cha Cha Cha to Timba and Reggaeton. The lineup includes 3 Salsa bands including, Calle Real, one of the hottest bands on the international scene, who will be performing, for the first time in the UK and exclusively at CubanaFest. The live music will be enjoyed indoors and outdoors, daytime and night time, in an idyllic setting rather than a large concert hall.

THE PARTIES, OUTDOORS & INDOORS

CubanaFest includes top international and UK teachers, performers and DJ's to create an exhilarating programme of three gala nights with live music, top DJ's and world-class dance shows. During the day, pool parties with aqua rueda, live music and animation and a world-class programme of dance workshops.

THE WORKSHOPS

All workshops are held at Sinah Warren Hotel, for added convenience, many outdoors, weather permitting. The workshops are delivered by teachers who can teach as well as perform at the highest levels. The workshops include a good choice and balance between Salsa focused and more specialist dance workshops including traditional Cuban dances (Son, Cha Cha, Mambo etc.); Body Movement & Styling; Musical appreciation and interpretation; and technique. Our programme of workshops is designed for all levels from total beginners to the most advanced levels.

ANIMADORES

During the day and night we will spice things up with ruedas, line-ups and ice breakers.
